SHE Media Names Katherine Steinberg Editor-in-Chief of SheKnows

October 13, 2025 — New York, NY: SHE Media today announced the appointment of Katherine Steinberg as the new Editor-in-Chief of SheKnows, the company’s flagship parenting brand. Based in New York City, Steinberg will oversee the editorial strategy, voice, brand identity, and growth of SheKnows across all platforms, ushering the brand into its next chapter. Steinberg will report directly to SHE Media’s Chief Executive Officer, Samantha Skey.

SheKnows, a core property of SHE Media’s award-winning portfolio, serves millions of parents each month with trusted, engaging content designed to empower, inform, and inspire families navigating the teen years and beyond. SheKnows recently announced the launch of How to Raise Adults, a new content series offering insights from teens on navigating the complex transition from adolescence to adulthood. Covering mental health, financial literacy, technology, relationships, and social trends, the series offers an authentic look into teen perspectives and the issues shaping the next generation.

She has held leadership roles at Nickelodeon, New American Economy, Sharecare/Dr. Oz, and AOL, building a career at the intersection of innovation and impact. In addition to her professional achievements, Steinberg is an active creator and writer, having co-written two original productions that debuted at the New York Fringe Festival.
