Judy Greer and Kara Swisher Close Out SHE Media Co-Lab at SXSW®
Austin, TX — March 16, 2026: The SHE Media Co-Lab at SXSW® wrapped its fourth year with a candid closing conversation between actress Judy Greer and journalist Kara Swisher, bringing together voices across media, wellness, and culture for two days of programming exploring innovation, longevity, midlife reinvention, and the evolving conversation around women’s health.
Speaking with Swisher, Greer reflected on how her career has evolved with age and why she believes the industry still has room to expand the types of roles women are offered later in their careers.
“The roles I'm getting offered are so much more layered and interesting, and I've loved this section of my life,” Greer said. “I do tend to see older male actors playing these super angry killers, and I’d love to see more women playing those roles. I've never done a super action movie—I would love to be in something like a Jason Bourne movie.”
Swisher, known for her sharp commentary on technology and culture, also weighed in on the booming longevity and wellness industries, cautioning against the over-commercialization of basic health practices.
“They’re taking our health and selling it back to us in stuff that’s very basic,” Swisher said. “They’ll say, take this supplement. I’m like, eat a piece of fish if you want fish oil. Eat the whole food.”
Additional programming throughout the day featured conversations with Robin Arzón, Gretchen Rubin, Kim Holderness, and others exploring parenting, longevity, and personal well-being.
During a conversation with the editor-in-chief of SheKnows, Peloton instructor and wellness advocate Robin Arzón reflected on motherhood and the importance of trusting one's instincts as a parent, sharing advice she once received from friend Eva Longoria about tuning out outside noise and relying on the values that guide her family.
Across the two-day program, speakers including Constance Zimmer, Ashley Park, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Gabby Reece, Emily Morse, Scott Galloway, Iskra Lawrence, and Sheila Marmon explored topics ranging from midlife reinvention and consumer “wallet activism” to strength, sexual wellness, and the future of women’s health storytelling.
The SHE Media Co-Lab has become a signature destination at SXSW, recognized for shaping the national conversation around women’s health and bringing together experts, advocates, creators and mission-driven partners working to advance the future of women’s well-being.
