Q: How long does it take to review my application?
A: It depends! At the most, it should take us a week to review your application, but if we needed to ask for more information (like Google Analytics access) – that will delay our review.
Q: What if I don’t have a blog? Can we partner on sponsored social promotions?
A: We’d love to! We sell and deliver sponsored social programs, and use a platform powered by Activate to manage them. If you’re not already signed up, please sign up using this link so we can learn more about you!
Q: How many ads am I required to run? Is there a limit?
A: On desktop and tablet versions of your site, the contract specifies at least two standard display ads per page, one native ad, and a branded link identifying your site as a member of the network. On mobile, you’ll need at least one standard display ad, one native ad, and the branding. Most sites run more than the minimum. There’s not a set upper limit, as different templates will allow for different ad setups. The goal is to achieve viewability scores of 70% or higher across all versions of your site. This allows you to maximize the earning power of each ad unit, so you can earn more money with fewer placements. Q: What is Boomerang?
A: Boomerang is our industry-leading proprietary header bidding ad code. It uses asynchronous ad delivery to optimize your viewability without slowing down your site. Unlike a waterfall ad system, Boomerang conducts a live auction for each of your ad spaces on every page load, making sure your ads are earning the highest possible CPMs for each impression.
Q: What is Infuse?
A: Infuse is our plugin for WordPress publishers that optimizes your ad layout, increases viewability, and keeps ads.txt files up to date. Not on WordPress? We’re happy to help you craft your ad strategy.
Q: When will I be paid?
A: We send payment two months after the close of the month when the revenue was earned. Example: ad revenue earned in January is paid on the last day of March. We do not withhold any funds for taxes, but we will provide you with a 1099 if you are paid $600 or more within one calendar year.
Q: When will I get my 1099 for my taxes?
A: U.S. based partners (or those paying taxes in the U.S.) who are paid $600 or more in a calendar year will receive a 1099 the following January. Please note that this is revenue paid, not earned, and will typically include ad revenue earned from November of one year through October of the next as those are paid out from January through December.

Q: How long is my ad contract with SHE Media?
A: Six months. Our contract automatically renews for another six months at the end of each term unless you let us know at least 60 days before the renewal date that you’d like to exit. We’re always available to talk about the contract with you via email or phone.
Q: How can I cancel my membership?
A: Simply email our support team at least 60 days before the end of your six month contract, otherwise, your contract will renew for another six month term. We’re always available to discuss the contract with you via email or phone.
Q: Why do you need 60 days?
A: That gives us time to replace your site’s ad impressions in our network, since we do look ahead to forecast how many impressions we can deliver to our advertisers.
Q: Can I just take my ads down myself?
A: No. If you take your ads down before the end of your contract, even if you’ve submitted your notice with us – we can withhold the remainder of your revenue. Especially if you’ve replaced our ads with another ad network.
