The #Femvertising Awards honor excellence in pro-female advertising. Based on a term we coined in 2014, SHE Media created the #Femvertising Awards the following year to celebrate ads that challenge social and gender norms through advertising. In 2017, we began opening the to be inclusive of ads that positively portray ALL humans – regardless of gender, race, religion or sexual orientation. Since 2015, more than 350 brands and agencies of all sizes and across all industries have submitted their work for consideration, and nearly 40,000 votes have been cast in favor of the best ads. The awards program and its winners and nominees have been featured in a wide range of publications and news outlets, including NBC Nightly News, Adweek, Fortune, CNN, Brandchannel, The Guardian, The Huffington Post, and more.

Hatch empowers today’s youth to create useful and differentiated content for parents that represents their unique perspectives. The program allows kids, tweens and teens to explore social issues impacting their generation – from increasing reliance on smartphones, to cyberbullying, to gender representation in the media. This award-winning program has been featured on Good Morning America, HLN, NBC, The Huffington Post, Upworthy, Buzzfeed, USA Today, Adweek, and more.

The Pitch was born from the need to help change the ratio of women-run businesses. SHE Media launched this program in 2015 to help elevate female entrepreneurship and innovation and inspire a global community of women. The Pitch is a live competition that spotlights up-and-coming women entrepreneurs and innovators, giving them the chance to explain their business ideas to a panel of judges at SHE Media’s BlogHer conferences. The Pitch has been sponsored by leading brands like Go Daddy and American Express, and emcees have included influential businesswomen like Sallie Krawcheck, JJ Ramberg, Camilla Alves McConaughey and Jessica Alba.
 

 

Voices of the Year is a pillar of the BlogHer event series. The program celebrates the today’s most inspiring voices, showcasing the most memorable, heart-stopping, brilliant, hilarious and impactful works of the past year during BlogHer conferences. #VOTY honorees represent a group of content creators publishing across every medium and format, from new voices to veteran bloggers. Past honorees have included such well-known names as Chelsea Clinton, #MeToo founder Tarana Burke, WNBA president Donna Orender, and so many more. Emcees and presenters of the #VOTYs have included Amy Schumer, Janet Mock and award-winning journalist Tamron Hall, among others.

 

 

Wine + Gyn is an event series by HelloFlo, the brand behind social media sensations like First Moon Party, Camp Gyno, The Period Fairy, A Visit from Aunt Flo, and Postpartum: The Musical.
